RiNo Yoga Social
RiNo Yoga Social is not your average studio. Our mission is to keep the practice of yoga simple and accessible while empowering yoga teachers to build their own businesses. With that in mind, no memberships are required for any of our classes!
Drop-In rates are affordable (most just $10) or donation-based, so you can make yoga part of your day, whenever it works for you! The 2400 square foot facility is located on the ground floor of LoDo Massage Studio’s building in Denver’s creative, urban RiNo Art District. Exposed brick and uplifting street art bring that artistic vibe into the space. The perfect floor and lighting will allow a multitude of class styles to practice in comfort. State of the art sound will make sure every class is set to a great beat. Mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps will all be provided. Just drop in for an incredible experience.
RiNo Yoga Social: The Studio Staying True to RiNo’s Elements & Art
What you probably notice when you first walk into RiNo Yoga Social, besides the enthusiastic teacher greeting you, is that the walls GLOW. Big, bright, glowing chakras emanate from every wall in the studio. How? Black lights. That’s how.
A local artist concentrated the vibe of the RiNo Arts district using spray paint, and covered all our walls with his chakra masterpieces. It’s a unique experience to practice yoga under the light of glowing chakras with black lights illuminating them & our students love it. Here’s what they have to say, “This place is great. Very cool unique vibe and design with the exposed brick wall and blacklight walls. So many different teachers and themed classes to pick from at reasonable prices…”, “Wahhh!!!!! This place is so cool. As a teacher myself, I am in love with the space. It is like a little purple yoga cave… I can’t wait to go back!”
So, whether you’re attending a power class or a candlelit class, we invite you to come bask in the glow of Denver’s very own, glow in the dark “yoga cave.” RiNo Yoga Social also invites you to look beneath your feet. Our floors aren’t hardwood and we don’t try to make them look like wood either. Instead of traditional hard wood floors, our studio has invested in top of the line Zebra mats, which are eco-friendly and made of recycled materials. These floors are great for yoga classes of all levels as they reduce noise transfer, prevent injuries, and just have a lovely sturdy feel overall. These Zebra mats can seriously take a beating, as they’re often used by jiu jitsu practitioners, they actually reduce the impact on yogis joints too! Beginners can feel safe to fall out of poses and those who are looking to play with their edge and explore more advanced asanas can safely do so without risking a painful collision with hard wood.
Overall, a lot of hard work, thought, art, good vibes, and love went into building this community studio space. This studio, perfectly embodying the artistic soul of RiNo, will wow you with exposed brick, graffiti style art, hip yogis, and avant garde classes you won’t find anywhere else.
This is your invitation to come practice with us!”
